The Art of Conscious Communication: Mastering Life’s Most Powerful Skill

Conscious communication is possibly the most important skill you can learn for your relationships and your life! (Spoiler alert-it’s more than one skill!)

Do you struggle to communicate in a way that helps you be understood by others?

When we don’t know how to communicate effectively, we invite drama, conflict, and misunderstanding into our relationships.

Learning to communicate consciously will improve your relationships—both personal and professional.

Do you want...

  • increased satisfaction and harmony in your relationships?
  • decreased conflict, and misunderstandings?
  • deeper connections with loved ones?
  • increased self-confidence and empowerment?

In this talk/workshop, you will not only improve your existing communication skills but experience a paradigm shift in how you think about communication.

You'll learn clear, practical skills and strategies to increase your effectiveness in any relationship.

You will learn to:

  • Take responsibility for your feelings and behaviors
  • Identify when you are feeling emotionally triggered and what to do about it
  • Communicate from a clear, empowered place
  • Resolve conflict by moving to a win-win approach
  • Notice when you’re being manipulative so you can stop
  • Let go of the “us vs them” mentality.
  • Prevent heated arguments
  • Listen deeply and appreciate different perspectives
  • Move out of judgment and defensiveness

When we communicate consciously in the workplace, our relationships deepen, our level of collaboration and trust increases, and we are more productive, creative, and happy. Conscious communication helps us form a highly engaged, positive work environment, where people feel valued, seen, and heard.

Similarly, conscious communication is invaluable to our personal relationships. Most of us were not taught how to effectively communicate. Because of this, we do the best we can with the few tools we have and an inadequate understanding of how to use those tools effectively.

Building a relationship is like building a house. If you don’t have a hammer, wrench, saw, or screwdriver and/or you don’t know to use them effectively, the house you build won’t be very sturdy or functional. As you know, screwdrivers aren’t very helpful in hammering in a nail or cutting through a piece of wood. We might also want to understand the basics of house design, building materials, and construction.

Similarly, if you want healthier, more functional, and more satisfying relationships getting the proper tools and learning how to use them is essential.  Additionally, you might want to learn about the foundational building blocks for establishing healthy relationships, and what contributes to the strength or weakness of a relationship.

Learning to consciously communicate will enhance your personal and professional life in ways you never thought possible!
